As part of our anniversary, we will be releasing a limited bottle and draft run of our 1st barrel-aged stout called Dark Horse. Shortly after we opened our doors we got to work on filling freshly emptied
barrels. We brewed a huge, high alcohol stout designed specifically for extended aging. After aging in barrels for nearly a year, we chose the best of these barrels for a single barrel release to celebrate our first anniversary. Big flavors of dark chocolate and roast blend together with oak and bourbon notes from the barrel. As a special surprise, we treated a small portion of this beer with a huge amount of real vanilla beans to provide another level of flavor.
